Mid-19th Century exquisite pet/doll bed in the Louis XXI style. All original silk brocade drapery and upholstery and remnants of trims. Mattress is stuffed with horsehair. Ostrich feather floret (the height of 32” does not include the feathers).

Shows light scratches and wear from previous use but remains in fair condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Structurally the bed is sound; the drapery is compromised in places but original! A very unique and exceptional piece.
